House Speaker Highlights Arabization of JAF Leadership as a Historical Milestone for Jordan

Amman: Speaker of the Lower House of Representatives, Mazen Qadi, extended his warmest congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II on the anniversary of the Arabization of the Army Command.

According to Jordan News Agency, Qadi expressed his sincerest greetings to the King, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), as well as to the army's brave servicemen and security services, both active and retired. He marked this occasion as a national milestone that represented a decisive turning point in the Kingdom's history.

Qadi highlighted that the decision to Arabize the Army Command, made by His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal, was crucial in solidifying Jordan's national sovereignty. He noted that over the decades, the army has been a symbol of loyalty, discipline, and sacrifice, defending the homeland and preserving its resources with the blood of its martyrs.

Furthermore, Qadi emphasized that the military's journey continues today under King Abdullah II's leadership, who is steering the institution towards greater professionalism and modernization. The army draws upon a deep-rooted Hashemite legacy and the unwavering resolve of loyal men dedicated to their nation's cause.
