He added: “At this time when the Holy City of Jerusalem, its people and its holy sites are exposed to blatant attacks by the Israeli occupation authorities, settlers and Jewish extremists, we are looking for multilateral action at the level of our Arab countries and their parliaments to expose these practices and form a decisive international position towards those violations that deny international treaties, agreements and decisions, challenge divine laws, violate Islamic and Christian religious holy sites and beliefs, in a way that constitutes a unique phenomenon that brings the world back to times of colonialism, oppression, apartheid, and war crimes.”
“The Jordanian Lower House of Parliament, in coordination with the PNC, stresses the necessity of holding urgent meetings in which joint efforts are coordinated at the Arab and Islamic level, and setting up a plan to move in all directions that includes stopping these attacks, and stimulating the active states and international organizations to take measures that will end the occupation and granting the Palestinian people their legitimate rights, including their right to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital,” Odat concluded.
