House panel expresses solidarity with Algeria over fire victims

The Lower House Fraternity Committee with the Arab Maghreb Countries expressed its “deep” condolences to the brotherly Algerian people, over death of 25 soldiers from the Algerian People’s National Army (APNA) after saving more than 100 citizens from forest fires that broke out in a number of areas.

In a cable sent Wednesday to the Algerian ambassador to Jordan, the committee’s head, MP Meijhem Saqour, expressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Algeria in these “harsh” conditions, stressing capability of his country to overcome this ordeal “effectively.”

The lawmaker also wished the wounded a speedy recovery, and supplicated Allah to protect Algeria and its people.
