Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Tuesday conveyed greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army to all PSD officers and personnel in various formations and units as well as His Majesty’s appreciation for their efforts to serve citizens.
Speaking to an Iftar banquet held Tuesday by the PSD and attended by officers and personnel from various PSD units and formations, Hawatmeh said the PSD is currently enjoys the highest levels of readiness and professionalism, thanks to the ongoing royal support. It has reached record levels of success in all tasks entrusted to it, and made a difference in the level of service provided to citizens.
Hawatmeh urged PSD officers and personnel to continue operating in accordance with their commitment to the principles of integrity and impartiality in laws enforcement, and to enhance security and tranquility and support the community.
He emphasized on the great responsibility the PSD’s assumes in all areas that affect the daily life of the citizen, pointing out that PSD personnel carry out their duties in honest and loyal manner in various circumstances, in addition to the great humanitarian roles that have become part of the PSD’s work.
He also called for exerting more efforts to carry out duties and responsibilities, and to provide help, assistance and support to all citizens through appropriate security and traffic plans throughout the holy month.
