Amman:Medication delivery requests through the Hakeemi app have witnessed a significant surge, rising by 56% in the first nine months of 2026, as announced by Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) on Wednesday.

According to Jordan News Agency, the company's data reveals that monthly delivery requests increased from 11,112 in January to a peak of 17,327 in September, marking the highest monthly total since the start of the year.

Overall, 129,661 medication delivery requests were recorded from January through September 30, with the app's user base surpassing the one million mark, reaching 1,011,047 users to date. EHS Acting CEO Khair Eddin Hourani emphasized that the true impact of digital transformation in healthcare is gauged by its ability to enhance patients' lives, making health services more accessible while saving time and effort.

Hourani highlighted the increasing demand for medication delivery via Hakeemi as a testament to the need for developing digital solutions that cater to patients' needs, accommodate their health conditions and daily routines, and ensure easy access to their monthly medications.

Launched in 2021, the Hakeemi app offers users access to medical records, laboratory results, radiology reports, medication and allergy information, and vaccination records, along with the option to request follow-up appointments. The app also provides monthly medication delivery through Jordan Post, with electronic payments facilitated via eFAWATEERcom. Hakeemi is an integral part of the Hakeem program, a national initiative aimed at supporting digital transformation in healthcare and improving patients' access to services.
