Berlin: The German government on Monday called for an immediate investigation into the deaths of medics and aid workers who were killed in Israeli airstrikes while on duty in Gaza.
According to Jordan News Agency, a spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry stated that a video released by the Palestinian Red Crescent over the weekend which contradicts the Israeli narrative was “truly shocking” and underscores the need for urgent clarification.
Germany’s call for transparency adds to growing international pressure on Israel to account for attacks on humanitarian personnel, particularly amid increasing concerns over targeting of aid convoys and medical teams during the ongoing conflict.
