GCC countries pledge support of economic stability in Jordan

Finance Minister Mohamad Al-Ississ met in Washington on Saturday with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Nayef Al-Hajraf on the sidelines of meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.

They discuss relations between Jordan and the GCC and prospects of enhancing trade and economic cooperation and supporting Jordan’s economic stability.

In their meeting, the second held over the past few weeks, the two sides also tackled the outcomes of joint technical committees and updating economic goals to serve their joint interests. They also talked about regional and international economic and financial matters.
