The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday condemned, in the strongest terms, the Houthi militia’s hijacking of the UAE-flagged cargo ship off the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah on Sunday.
In a statement, the ministry’s official spokesperson Haitham Abu Al-Foul affirmed Jordan’s condemnation and denunciation of these aggressive acts and practices, which pose a threat to the freedom of maritime navigation and a flagrant violation of international law, calling for the ship to be released immediately.
