Foreign Minister: Jordan’s Efforts to Stop Israeli Aggressions Ongoing

Amman: Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, said on Monday that Jordan’s diplomatic efforts to cease Israeli aggression in Gaza and to halt unlawful Israeli activities in the West Bank remain continuous. During a Lower House of Parliament session, Minister Safadi stated that Israel violated the terms of the exchange agreement, which was brokered through Egyptian, Qatari, and American mediation, and subsequently resumed its military aggression in Gaza.

According to Jordan News Agency, Minister Safadi highlighted that Israel had suspended the provision of humanitarian, medical, and food aid to Gaza at the beginning of the current month. He emphasized that these actions constitute a clear breach of the exchange agreement.

Minister Safadi disclosed that the agreement included the establishment of a joint Egyptian-Qatari operations center tasked with monitoring adherence to its provisions. According to data from this center, more than 900 Israeli ceasefire violations were documented over th
e preceding 40 days.
