Safadi and Aukrust focused on the two countries' commitment to continuing efforts to develop ties and build on the existing partnership, particularly in the economic and development sectors.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions also included enhancing coordination on issues of mutual interest at the regional and international levels. Safadi acknowledged Norway for its continued support for Jordan and emphasized its important role in helping meet the needs of refugees. He highlighted Norway's support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), noting Norway's announcement of $27 million in support for UNRWA for the years 2026-2027.
