Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met with UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Jorge Moreira da Silva.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussion focused on the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. Safadi and da Silva explored ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom and UN humanitarian organizations to deliver aid to the Palestinian region.
The meeting underscored the importance of international efforts in providing necessary support and assistance to the people of Gaza. Both parties emphasized the need for efficient delivery mechanisms to ensure aid reaches those in need quickly and effectively.
