Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi Tuesday received a phone call from Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares Bueno.
The ministers discussed prospects of broader bilateral cooperation in the various fields within the partnership with the European Union, and enhancing consultation on regional and international issues of common interest.
They also talked about preparations for an upcoming ministerial conference of the Union for the Mediterranean, which will be co-chaired by Jordan and the European Union, and preparations for the next meeting of the Association Council between Jordan and the EU.
The ministers said they look forward to continuing joint coordination in the service of the two countries’ interests.
