Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, on Tuesday met with UN Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen.
The meeting covered the humanitarian situation in Syria and relief efforts to help survivors of the earthquake that struck various areas there.
Safadi and Pedersen also discussed efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
Earlier, Pedersen arrived in Amman from Damascus.
