For her part, Azoulay commended the Jordanian role in UNESCO bodies and committees, and praised the Kingdom’s role in ensuring the preservation of cultural heritage, congratulating the Kingdom on the inclusion of the city of Salt on the World Heritage List.
In addition, Safadi met yesterday evening with Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affair, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, within the framework of continuous coordination and consultation between the two brotherly countries, and to strengthen the bonds of brotherly relations that His Majesty King Abdullah and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, are leading the process of developing its prospects.
Safadi also participated in the sixteenth annual ministerial meeting of the International Peace Institute, at a joint invitation of the United Arab Emirates and the friendly Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and HRH Prince Zeid bin Raad, President of the Institute.
