An explosive war remnant (EWR) Monday killed one person and injured two others in Salah al-Din Governorate in northern Iraq.
An Iraqi security source said that an EWR from previous military operations detonated on several civilians on the island of al-Aithah, 20 kilometres north of Tikrit in Salah al-Din Governorate.
The explosion killed one person and injured two farmers.
