Experts Highlight Education and Culture in Shaping Amra City Project

Amra city: Experts and specialists on Saturday emphasized the importance of focusing on educational and cultural aspects in the development of the Amra City project. They highlighted the need for a sustainable urban model that reflects Jordanian identity, ensures a high quality of life, and adheres to modern standards.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions took place during the education and culture session at the Prime Ministry, moderated by Hassan Katkhuda and Ashraf Bani Mohammad. Participants advocated for the new city to encourage creativity and innovation through the establishment of schools, universities, and cultural institutions. They also stressed the importance of technical and vocational education and the formation of partnerships with international universities.

The experts called for a harmonious blend of modernity and Jordanian heritage, suggesting that national identity be incorporated into the architectural design, cultural spaces, museums, and theaters within the city. They also underscored the potential of modern technology and artificial intelligence to provide high-quality services and address challenges prevalent in existing cities, such as traffic and mobility issues.

Participants further emphasized that the city should be designed to nurture talent, support innovation, and align educational and cultural initiatives with future labor market needs. They also stressed the importance of maintaining a clear vision for governance, investment, and economic development to ensure the long-term success of Amra City.
