According to Jordan News Agency, Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament, announced the decision on Tuesday. She stated on the “X” platform, “The assistance is not just an act of solidarity, but an investment in reforms with our strategic partners,” though she did not disclose the specific amount of financial support to be provided.
