EU adds 11 countries to its safe travel list, including Jordan

The European Union governments agreed on Wednesday, to add 11 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Qatar, to its travel list for non-essential purposes.

According to the European Euronews agency, ambassadors of the 27 EU countries agreed to add these countries at today’s meeting, with the decision to take effect in the coming days.

In addition to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Qatar, the list includes Canada, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Kosovo, Moldova and Montenegro.

Every EU country can still request a COVID-19 test with a negative result, or subject arrivals to quarantine, reported Euronews.
