Jordan’s Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans (ESARSV) on Wednesday discussed with the Iraqi Veterans Association (IVA) in Baghdad ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries to serve military retirees and veterans.

Speaking at the meeting with IVA chief, retired Major Gen. Qahtan Tamimi , ESARSV Director General, retired Major Gen. Ismail Shobaki, said the Royal directives “constantly” focus on reviving cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields to achieve common interests.

For his part, Tamimi praised the ESARSV’s efforts and services locally, hoping to benefit from the Jordanian expertise in the veteran field and enhance joint cooperation and coordination.
