Amman: The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) received 1,048 licensing applications across its regulated sectors in June, according to data published on the commission's website. The commission rejected six applications in the oil and petroleum products sector during the month. According to Jordan News Agency, the applications included 273 in the radiation and nuclear sector, 24 in the electricity and renewable energy sector, 452 in the natural resources sector, and 299 in the oil and petroleum products sector.
