The National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) on Friday said that the electric load reached 3,640mw on Thursday evening, down from 3,670mw in the morning.
The highest load ever recorded in the Kingdom was in January, standing at 4,010mw, the company added.
NEPCO has increased its readiness to deal with the heat wave currently affecting the country.
