Al mafraq: The El Hassan Youth Award (EHYA) and Al al-Bayt University (AABU) have formalized a strategic partnership to enhance student engagement in the Award's multifaceted programs and nurture critical personal and professional skills.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was signed by Khawla Hassan, National Director of the El Hassan Youth Award, and Professor Ahmad Allawneh, Vice President for Academic and Engineering Affairs at Al al-Bayt University. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both institutions, underscoring the significance of this collaboration.
This partnership will provide AABU students with access to the Award's comprehensive programs, which encompass community service, physical activity, adventurous journeys, and skill-building initiatives. These programs aim to instill a sense of responsibility and belonging while enhancing the intellectual and physical capabilities of the students. The collaboration will include joint training programs, workshops, and applied projects with a focus on entrepreneurship, scientific research, and volunteering.
Khawla Hassan highlighted that the partnership supports the Award's strategic objective of building strong connections with Jordanian universities. She emphasized that participation in the Gold Level and "Sabelat El Hassan" programs offers students a transformative experience, reinforcing values of active citizenship and leadership central to the Award's mission.
Professor Ahmad Allawneh expressed his approval of the partnership, reaffirming the university's dedication to supporting national programs that prepare students for active and constructive societal roles. This aligns with the university's vision of developing a conscious and responsible generation contributing to national development.
