Effect of wet air mass continues on Friday

The wet air mass continues to affect the Kingdom, on Friday, pushing temperatures 5 to 6 degrees below their annual average for this time of year, with a chance of scattered showers countrywide, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Winds will be northwesterly brisk, the JMD noted. The weather department warned of slippery roads, low-visibility during rainfall due to dust formation in Badia regions and fog formation in mountainous areas.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 15 degrees.

Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 34 degrees Celsius, sliding to 21 degrees at night.
