Zarqa:Minister of Education and Human Resources Development Azmi Mahafzah and Orange Jordan CEO Philippe Mansour visited Sumaya Mixed Basic School in Zarqa governorate to evaluate the "Digital Schools" program's implementation and impact.

According to Jordan News Agency, the initiative is a collaboration between Orange Jordan and the Madrasati Initiative, with support from the Ministry of Education's National Center for Curriculum Development and the Queen Rania Center for Education and Information Technology.

Mahafzah highlighted the program's role in integrating technology into classrooms, demonstrating a successful public-private partnership. He emphasized the program's practical opportunities for students to gain digital skills and noted the positive outcomes of the "Wiki Challenge" in promoting Arabic digital content creation.

Mansour reiterated Orange Jordan's dedication to enhancing digital education and technology use in schools, underscoring the collaboration with Madrasati to meet local educational needs.

The program, launched in September 2025, initially covers 10 public schools in governorates such as Zarqa, Irbid, and Tafilah. These schools have received 15 digital educational kits, each containing 25 tablets, along with 30 additional digital devices, including computers, projectors, routers, and Raspberry Pi kits.

Overall, the program benefits over 3,100 students from first to sixth grade and 136 teachers. It includes digital learning content and the "Kotobi" platform, offering more than 1,200 books to support literacy in Arabic and English, as well as critical thinking and digital skills.
