Dr. Taghreed Odeh Named Chief of Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies

Amman: His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute For Inter-Faith Studies (RIIFS), has appointed Dr. Taghreed Odeh as the institute's Director, effective from the beginning of this year. The appointment marks a significant leadership change at the institute, which plays a key role in facilitating interfaith dialogue and promoting social cohesion.

According to Jordan News Agency, the decision to appoint Dr. Odeh follows the acceptance of the resignation of the previous Director, Dr. Renee Hattar. Dr. Hattar stepped down from her position to pursue further academic activities. Dr. Odeh brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, having held key leadership and advisory positions in both governmental and non-profit organizations.

Dr. Odeh's academic credentials include a PhD in Diplomacy and International Relations, as well as a Master's degree in Human Rights and Human Development. Her career achievements have been recognized with the Excellence in Performance Award from the World Council for International Programs, highlighting her contributions to the field.

The Royal Institute For Inter-Faith Studies, established in 1994 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. It serves as a hub for multidisciplinary studies on interfaith dialogue, aiming to solidify diversity values and promote peace at both regional and global levels.
