The caretaker Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, discussed with his Deputy for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, the arrangements for the infrastructure investment conference in the Republic of Yemen, scheduled to be held next February. During the meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Public Works and Roads in the caretaker government, Ghaleb Mutlaq, the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, and the Chairman of the General Authority for Investment, Yasser Al-Mansour, the investment opportunities prepared by the Investment Authority were reviewed in coordination with the competent authorities, specifically in the fields of energy, health, and transportation and tourism, with a total of 470 investment opportunities. Dr. Maqbouli explained that the services sector prepared the main document for the conference in coordination with the Authority and the concerned authorities, which included the objectives and executive mechanism of the conference. He pointed out the need for the government leadership to direct all sectors and public institutions to contribute to the success of the conference in the preliminary , executive stages and to provide the main terms of reference for investment plans implementation in the specific sectors. Dr. Bin Habtoor directed that all aspects related to holding the conference be well prepared to ensure practical results that contribute to the implementation of investment projects that achieve the public interest , contribute to serving social and economic development as soon as possible.
