Divers of the Civil Defense and Public Security departments recovered Thursday the body of a man who drowned last Tuesday in the King Talal Dam in the Jerash Governorate after hours of grueling search.
Spokesman of the Public Security Department said that the rescue teams began their search operations when the man was reported missing. However, the rough terrain, the rising silt level, thick shrubs and low visibility hindered the efforts. Divers finally recovered the body and transferred it to a nearby hospital, he added.
