Dip in temps forecast until Friday

A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, bringing moderate weather conditions in the highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with clouds at various altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

 

A further dip in mercury levels is forecast on Thursday, triggering relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, and fair weather in other regions until Friday, with the appearance of clouds at high and medium altitudes, the forecasters predicted.

 

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of 17C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 38C, sliding to 25C at night.
