Digital Economy, Space, Innovation Delegation to Begin Visits to Japan, Korea

The digital economy, space and innovation delegation, led by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, will begin a tour on Thursday to Korea and Japan, where the delegation will be meeting with officials and representatives of mega companies specialized in digital economy and innovation.

The purpose of these visits is to foster partnerships in the areas of digital economy, innovation, and space, with the aim of bolstering the Kingdom’s position as a regional technology hub and advancing global endeavors towards sustainable development. The delegation has arranged to sign agreements pertaining to technology, space, and innovation, and will be taking part in the Internet Global Forum (IGF) in Kyoto, Japan from October 8 to 12, 2023.
