Amman: Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply and Minister of Labor, Yousef Shamali, stressed importance of Higher Committee for Business Inspection Development’s role to advance public monitoring and inspection system in an “integrated” manner.
Shamali, who chairs the gov’t committee, also noted importance of integrating oversight tasks among all Jordanian concerned regulatory bodies.
In this regard, he emphasied need to activate these entities’ computerized inspection, which would develop oversight activities.
During the meeting, a slew of business inspection issues were discussed, and the committee took multiple procedural and organizational decisions related to its work, according to a ministry statement.
