The Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) Monday signed an agreement to launch a campaign to hand out food packages on the occasion of Ramadan.
The MoSD signed the agreement with “al-Hikma Pharmaceuticals” and “George, Sami Khoury and Partners Co.”
Under the agreement, the “Distribution of Packages in the Holy Month of Ramadan” initiative will be launched. It includes catering materials that will be distributed to a group of charitable and humanitarian agencies and poor families.
The “al-Hikma Pharmaceuticals” will offer JD100,000 to fund the initiative, while “George, Sami Khoury and Partners Co” will supply 3,226 food packages.
