Despite occupation restrictions, thousands of Palestinians celebrate Laylat al-Qadr in Al-Aqsa Mosque

Thousands of Palestinians from various parts of Jerusalem, the West Bank and the 48 lands were able to enter the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Saturday evening to celebrate the Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Destiny).

Earlier today, Israeli occupation authorities imposed unprecedented restrictions on citizens, and set up checkpoints on various roads leading to the city of Jerusalem and returned hundreds of buses coming from the 48 lands to pray in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and detained dozens of them near Ofer Camp northwest of Jerusalem, and near the village of Abu Ghosh, west of occupied Jerusalem.
