Deputizing for King, PSD Chief Honors Officer for Top Academic Achievement in UAE

Amman: Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, Director of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Maj. Gen. Obaidullah Al-Maaytah presented Second Lt. Ibrahim Al-Sawalmeh with a royal gift for his outstanding academic performance. Al-Sawalmeh achieved top honors among students from Arab countries at the Abu Dhabi Police College in the United Arab Emirates.

According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Sawalmeh earned a bachelor's degree in law and police sciences. Maj. Gen. Al-Maaytah conveyed the King's congratulations and best wishes to Al-Sawalmeh, noting that this achievement showcases the advanced level of competence attained by Public Security Directorate personnel, as well as their ability to excel in specialized academic and training institutions.

Al-Maaytah emphasized that Al-Sawalmeh's success reflects positively on the Public Security Directorate and its members. He highlighted the directorate's commitment to investing in human resources through the development of qualification, training, and scholarship programs.
