Decision to change name of 90th Street in Hodeida to ‘October 7 Street’


Local authority leadership directed the Public Works Office and the General Land Authority branch to place information signs on October 7th Street, so that it is easier for citizens to deal according to the new name.

The governor of the province, Muhammad Qahim, confirmed that changing the name of this street embodies the symbolic significance of the historical battle ‘Al-Aqsa Flood,’ which was carried out by the Palestinian resistance on this date, to consolidate this exceptional event.

While the first deputy governor of the province, Ahmed Al-Bishri, pointed out that the decision to change the name of 90th Street to October 7 expresses pride and pride in this historic day, and links the symbolism of victory to the date of its occurrence.
