DCO Secretary-General Receives Credentials of Jordan’s Permanent Representative


Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Deemah Al Yahya has received credentials of Jordan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Haitham Saleh Abu Alfoul as Jordan’s first permanent representative to DCO.

Al Yahya said that the organization is looking to working closely with the Jordanian permanent representative to strengthen cooperation between the Kingdom and the DCO, adding that this cooperation will play an active role in supporting the organization’s mission of enabling digital prosperity for all by accelerating the inclusive and sustainable growth of the global digital economy.

Abu Alfoul commended the organization for its role, initiatives, and efforts in supporting the acceleration of digital transformation. The accreditation of the Permanent Representative to the Digital Cooperation Organization is part of the General Secretariat’s efforts to enhance cooperation and diplomatic communication with member states. This aims to activate the organization’s initiativ
es aimed at achieving an inclusive and sustainable digital economy, ensuring that every country, company, and individual has a fair opportunity to prosper in the digital economy.
