Aqaba: A Czech economic delegation met with officials from the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce on Sunday to discuss boosting bilateral trade ties and exploring investment opportunities in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone.
According to Jordan News Agency, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, Rami Riyati, and other board members briefed the delegation on Aqaba’s unique advantages as a regional logistics and trade hub, highlighting customs exemptions and economic incentives available to foreign investors.
The officials underscored the importance of strengthening commercial partnerships with Czech businesses and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly as Aqaba continues to develop its infrastructure and launch major development projects.
The Czech delegation expressed keen interest in Aqaba’s investment environment and praised the level of organization and openness observed during the visit. Several Czech firms signaled readiness to pursue strategic partnerships with Jordanian counterparts.
Both sides agreed to maintain coordination, share relevant information, and organize joint business forums in the near future to further economic ties between the two countries.
