Cybersecurity Council Approves 2025-2028 Strategy

Amman: The National Cybersecurity Council (NCSA) has approved the National Cybersecurity Strategy for 2025-2028, a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing the Kingdom’s cyber resilience and positioning Jordan as a regional leader in cybersecurity.

According to Jordan News Agency, the strategy outlines a national vision to establish a secure and trustworthy Jordanian cyberspace, capable of withstanding threats and contributing to the country’s economic growth and digital transformation.

The NCSA will collaborate with relevant national entities to develop an executive program for the strategy and oversee the implementation of its initiatives based on defined timeframes and performance indicators.

The strategy sets out four main strategic objectives and 14 sub-objectives, supported by targeted programs and initiatives. These focus on strengthening national cyber capabilities, fostering a secure digital environment, and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.

A key component of the strategy is attracting international investment in the cybersecurity sector and supporting Jordan’s broader economic modernization vision. It also aims to build a cybersecurity ecosystem that leverages national talent and promotes operational resilience across public and private sectors.
