Crown Prince Visits National Service Training Centre to Review Training Programmes


Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II visited the National Service training centre at Shweier Military Camp to review the progress of its training programmes,



According to Jordan News Agency, During the visit, His Royal Highness observed National Service recruits taking part in field training exercises. He emphasised the importance of the programme in developing the character of young Jordanians around discipline, responsibility, and a sense of belonging, noting how the programme’s impact will extend to all aspects of their daily lives after they conclude their training.



The Crown Prince highlighted the importance of utilising the National Service’s theoretical tracks, which cover financial literacy, civic engagement, media and technology awareness, in addition to vocational education and training aligned with labour market needs. During the visit, His Royal Highness was briefed on the phases of basic training conducted at the centre, which aim to prepare participants for the physical and mental demands of military service.



The Crown Prince toured the training centre’s facilities and was briefed on its training fields and the equipment used. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army in implementing the National Service training programme at the highest standards of professionalism.
