Irbid:The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) hosted a series of youth-focused events in Irbid Governorate on Wednesday as part of a nationwide initiative to commemorate its 10th anniversary.
According to Jordan News Agency, Mohammad al Hennawi, CPF Program Manager, emphasized the significance of partnerships with local entities and institutions in Irbid, which have been crucial in extending the Foundation's programs to young people and increasing their impact in the northern governorate.
The "With Youth" event served as a platform for the Foundation, its partners, and young attendees to engage, explore the Foundation's programs, and share ideas and aspirations. This initiative aims to foster collaboration for the future by engaging closely with the youth, understanding their experiences, and tailoring programs to meet their evolving needs. The Foundation focuses on broadening opportunities for learning, leadership, and community development.
Informational booths at the event showcased several of the Foundation's programs, such as Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU), the College of Advanced Vocational Training in Jordan (CAVT), the "Khuta Al-Hussein" (Al Hussein's Footsteps), the School Leadership Program, and the 42 Amman and 42 Irbid coding programs.
Attendees also had the opportunity to interact with the Makerspace Mobile Lab, which featured various innovation and digital manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, CNC machines, and laser cutters.
Local youth shared their experiences with the Foundation's programs, highlighting the opportunities for learning, training, and skill development they received, and how these have been applied in their career paths.
