Crown Prince Attends Final Ceremony of Arab Camel Racing Cup and Nabataean Poetry Festival

Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II attended the closing ceremony of the second Arab Camel Racing Cup, marking the first time the event was hosted in Jordan, along with the fifth Jordan Camel Racing and Nabataean Poetry Festival.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince observed the final laps of both the Arab Camel Racing Cup and the Jordan Camel Racing Festival held in the Al Disi area in the south of the Kingdom. The event also featured a performance by the Public Security Directorate Royal Desert Forces’ camel patrols unit.

During the ceremony, which saw the presence of Prince Fahad bin Jalawi, President of the International Camel Racing Federation, the Crown Prince awarded prizes to the winners. The competition attracted participants from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Somalia, and Djibouti.
