Split:Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II is set to attend the MED9 summit in Croatia this week, representing King Abdullah II.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince was invited by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic to participate in the high-level meeting.
The summit, beginning on Wednesday, will be held in the coastal city of Split and will gather heads of state from Southern Europe along with European Union representatives to discuss regional cooperation.
Jordan's participation in the MED9 summit for the third consecutive year highlights the Kingdom's significant diplomatic role in the region and its strong relationship with the European Union.
