Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Regent, inaugurated the Command-and-Control Room at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre (KASOTC) on Wednesday. The new facility is equipped with advanced technology aimed at improving the center’s technical and logistical capabilities, and it will play a crucial role in managing training operations to ensure quick and efficient responses during field applications.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince was joined by Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, during the inauguration. They received a briefing on the plans to further develop KASOTC’s training and qualification programs, which are designed to bolster the capabilities of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
The briefing also highlighted KASOTC’s strategy to expand its collaborations with partner countries to leverage the advanced training programs available at the center. This expansion aims to enhance international cooperation in special operations and counterterrorism training.
During his visit, His Royal Highness toured KASOTC’s facilities, gaining insights into its specialized training capabilities. He expressed pride in the professionalism displayed by KASOTC and the skills of its personnel, underscoring the center’s pivotal role in training and preparedness.
