Clashes between Palestinians, Israeli forces at Nablus’ Hawara checkpoint

A number of Palestinians were injured with live and rubber bullets and toxic tear gas canisters during violent clashes that broke out with the Israeli occupation forces at the Hawara military checkpoint, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its crews transported injured people with live bullets and people who suffered suffocation for treatment in city hospitals from the scene of the confrontations.

Earlier today, a march came out of the city of Nablus called by the national and Islamic forces from the Al-Nasr Mosque towards the Hawara checkpoint, in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem and in solidarity with Gaza.
