The Cabinet Sunday approved the bylaw and financial structures of the governorate councils for the year 2022.
The bylaw is aimed at organising the work of provincial councils, defining the procedures for their meetings, the mechanism for making their decisions, managing their affairs, forming their committees, defining their tasks and the mechanism by which they conduct elections.
The Cabinet approved the financial structures for the governorate councils for the year 2022, which regulates the financial affairs of the councils, including preparing the annual capital budget for the governorates.
