London: The British pound experienced a notable rise against the US dollar on Wednesday, surpassing the $1.35 mark for the first time in recent weeks.
According to Jordan News Agency, the exchange rate reached $1.35746, reflecting a gain of 0.50%. The pound also appreciated against the euro, climbing to £1.15636, an increase of 0.46%.
Analysts attribute the pound’s recent strength to positive economic indicators and investor confidence in the UK’s economic outlook.
