Amman: Minister of State for Public Sector Development, Badriya Belbisi, engaged in a significant meeting with representatives from the Apolitical platform during the World Governments Summit. This meeting was part of the government's ongoing efforts to establish the Jordanian Academy of Public Administration, focusing on enhancing public worker capacity-building.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions between Belbisi and the platform's representatives centered on enhancing cooperation and partnerships in modernizing the public sector. A key area of focus was capacity building and training, particularly through the establishment of the new academy, envisioned as a national portal for strengthening government capabilities.
Belbisi outlined the operational mechanisms of the academy, emphasizing its role in developing "modern, digital, and continuously upgradable" government capacities. She highlighted the academy's objective to forge "strategic" partnerships with entities possessing global knowledge platforms, which are regularly updated and supported by networks of experts worldwide.
She expressed the academy's intention to collaborate with the Apolitical platform, which offers a world-class government learning system. This system integrates knowledge, practical experience, and best international practices, aligning with the academy's vision to build a "cumulative, flexible, and rapidly evolving learning environment."
Belbisi underscored that this partnership will enable the academy to leverage the latest global practices in government administration and artificial intelligence while providing constantly updated content without the delays associated with internal development. This initiative aims to connect the academy with a global network of experts and government leaders, thereby reinforcing Jordan's position as a regional center of excellence in government capability building.
