Baghdad: Iraq's Interior Ministry announced on Monday evening that the Al-Rashid Hotel, located in central Baghdad, was struck by a projectile. The ministry said the projectile hit the hotel's rooftop, causing no damage or injuries. Security measures have been tightened in parts of the capital amid concerns over potential further attacks on key sites.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Rashid Hotel is one of Baghdad's most prominent hotels, known for hosting official delegations and conferences, and it is located within the heavily secured Green Zone.
