Aqaba: Ayla Oasis Development has unveiled a strategic partnership with Infinity EV Solutions to establish an electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure within the Ayla project. This initiative highlights the company's dedication to sustainability and the adoption of smart solutions aimed at supporting the future of clean mobility.
According to Jordan News Agency, the partnership seeks to bolster Ayla's status as a sustainable destination by offering advanced charging solutions. These include the replacement of outdated chargers with efficient DC fast chargers, designed to decrease waiting times and enhance user experiences.
The agreement further incorporates a mobile application that enables users to locate charging stations within Ayla, process electronic payments, and monitor the charging process in real time. A help desk and technical support team will also be available around the clock to assist Ayla's visitors, the statement added.
Ayla CEO Sahl Dudin expressed that the partnership is a crucial step in Ayla's vision to become a fully integrated and sustainable destination. He emphasized the company's efforts in developing smart infrastructure that aligns with the global shift towards electric vehicles, offering a more efficient and seamless mobility experience for visitors and residents.
Rami Abu Yousef, CEO of Infinity EV, commented that the collaboration with Ayla signifies a commitment to facilitating the transition to clean energy. It aims to expand the electric vehicle charging infrastructure in prominent destinations throughout the Kingdom.
The project will see the operation of three main charging stations within the Marina Village and the commercial market at the Ayla project. These stations will be equipped with 90 kW and 60 kW DC chargers to cater to the increasing demand for fast charging solutions for electric vehicles.
