Aqaba: Ayla Oasis Development Company and the Royal Jordanian Marine Sports Federation (RJMSF) have renewed their memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the third consecutive year, continuing their collaboration to advance marine sports such as sailing and rowing both locally and internationally.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was signed by Ayla's CEO, Sahl Dudin, and RJMSF President, Ramzi Kabariti, in the presence of representatives from both organizations. The MoU will see the continued organization of events and activities at the Upper Lagoon of Beach 3 in Ayla pools, aiming to increase nationwide participation in these sports.
During the signing ceremony, Dudin emphasized that the partnership signifies the "success" of previous collaborations in promoting marine sports at Ayla. He highlighted the ongoing development of training facilities and initiatives to host training sessions for the national "Optimist" sailing team, alongside organizing championships and events to support the local community and boost tourism.
Kabariti expressed that through this partnership, the federation plans to expand training camps and tournaments, with a focus on enhancing the skills of Jordanian athletes in sailing and rowing.
