Amman: Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalaileh visited the Jordanian military Hajj mission on Friday, where he was received by the mission's head, Brigadier General Ahmad Sarhan.
According to Jordan News Agency, the minister was accompanied by Jordan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Haitham Abu Al Foul, along with several officials from the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. Khalaileh commended the high level of organization and coordination demonstrated by the military Hajj mission, praising the efforts of its personnel in providing services and care to pilgrims in a manner that reflects the honourable image of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
Sarhan, in turn, welcomed the minister and the accompanying delegation, expressing appreciation for the continued support of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He highlighted the King's annual initiative to send Hajj and Umrah missions for members of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies, including active and retired personnel, wounded servicemen, and family members of fallen soldiers.
